Saif Ali Khan expected to be discharged from hospital on Monday evening, says source

New Delhi: As investigations intensify in the high-profile stabbing case of Saif Ali Khan, fans continue to express concern over the renowned actor’s health. Amid all the buzz, his admirers are eager to know when the 54-year-old actor will be discharged from Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. Well, here is the latest update!

A source revealed to TV9 that Saif is likely to be discharged from the medical facility on Monday evening (January 20, 2025). It was further disclosed that the police may then record his statement. The source added that the police are expected to take detailed information from him about the night of the attack.

According to PTI, an official stated that the Mumbai police will likely take the accused to Saif’s home at Satguru Sharan building soon to recreate the crime scene as part of their investigation. The accused, a 30-year-old Bangladeshi man named Shariful Islam Shehzad Mohammad Rohilla Amin Fakir, was recently arrested in Thane.

What actually happened?

Shehzad sneaked into Saif’s apartment in the early hours of Thursday (January 16, 2025). The accused’s intent is believed to have been theft.

According to the news agency, preliminary investigations hint that he used the stairs to reach the seventh-eighth floor of the building. Shehzad reportedly entered the actor’s flat through a bathroom window.

After being stabbed multiple times, Saif was rushed to the nearby Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent a five-hour-long surgery. Soha Ali Khan, on Sunday (January 19, 2025), was quoted as saying that her brother was recovering well from his injuries. She also thanked fans for their constant support.
