Another legal trouble for YouTubers: Assam Police files FIR over ‘obscene’ remarks on India’s Got Latent

New Delhi: India’s Got Latent, Samay Raina’s viral show on YouTube has been under fire recently. After Ranveer Allahbadia’s ‘vulgar’ joke/statement on the show, everyone included in the episode has become a target of online backlash. For context, the latest episode of India’s Got Latent featured Samay Raina, Ranveer Allahbadia (BeerBiceps), Apoorva Makhija (The Rebel Kid), Ashish Chanchalani, and Jaspreet Singh.

These creators were invited as a panel of judges who would go on to judge the contestants with whacky talents. The backlash came after BeerBiceps’ question to a contestant. These YouTubers have already faced two legal cases in the past 24 hours. One was filed to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the other to the Mumbai Commissioner and Maharashtra Women’s Commission. Now, Assam Police has also officially filed an FIR against the individuals. Here is what happened.
