Bigg Boss: Ahead of season 18 finale, here’s a look at winners of previous seasons

New Delhi: Ever since its debut on Indian television in 2006, Bigg Boss has carved a special place in the hearts of entertainment lovers. Over the years, the controversial reality series has provided unmatched entertainment by featuring some of the biggest celebrities from diverse fields and pitting them against one another.

But did you know that the much-talked-about show, now a household name and hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, originally had a different host? No, we are not kidding!

It was Arshad Warsi who hosted Bigg Boss Season 1. For the next installment, the makers brought in Shilpa Shetty, while the third edition was led by the megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Salman Khan came into the picture starting with Season 4 and, together with Sanjay Dutt, he co-hosted Bigg Boss 5. From Season 6 onwards, Salman took full responsibility for hosting the show.

After surviving weeks of challenges, drama and gameplay inside the house, contestants make their way to the grand finale, where the winner is determined by viewers’ votes. The concluding episode of Bigg Boss Season 18 will air on Colors TV and JioCinema at 9:30 pm on Sunday (January 19, 2025). Rajat Dalal, Karan Veer Mehra, Vivian Dsena, Avinash Mishra, Chum Darang, and Eisha Singh are in the race for the prestigious title.
