Chhaava Box Office collection Day 1: Vicky Kaushal’s epic drama likely to score big

New Delhi: Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Chhaava has opened to positive reviews from audiences and critics, alike. The movie earned around Rs 30.03 crores India net on its first day for all languages, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. Earlier, Sacnilk reported that the film made a collection of over 15 crores through advance bookings.

Chhaava is a historical drama based on the life of Maratha Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. It is an adaptation of the Marathi novel, Chhava by Shivaji Sawant. Let’s explore its total earnings at the ticket window so far.

According to early estimates on the industry tracker Sacnilk, Chhaava starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna is expected to have a strong opening at the Box Office. On its first day, the film is expected to earn over Rs 30 crore. According to Sacnilk, the film has already minted Rs 30.03 crore at the domestic Box Office.

The morning shows had a total occupancy of 30.51 per cent, followed by afternoon shows with an occupancy of 34.50 per cent and evening shows with an occupancy of 40.51 per cent.

According to reports, Chhaava, based on the life of Maratha Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, is made on a budget of Rs 130 crore. It is directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films.
