‘Are you crazy?’: B Praak slams comedians, cancels Ranveer Allahbadia podcast appearance

New Delhi: The comedy scene has been receiving a lot of backlash after Ranveer Allahbadia’s controversial comments have taken over the internet. BeerBiceps was part of Samay Raina’s YouTube show India’s Got Latent. During the show, Ranveer’s one particular comment sparked major backlash and legal battles for all involved celebrities in the show. Apart from Ranveer Allahbadia, the judging panel on the show included Apoorva Mukhija, Ashish Chanchalani, and Jaspreet Singh.
All these entertainers have now faced legal complaints and FIRs following the widespread online backlash. Now, singer B Praak has issued an online statement cancelling his appearance on Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast. He slammed the panel members for their ‘pathetic’ behaviour and asked them to show respect for comedy. Here is what he had to say.
B Praak cancels appearance on Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast
After the massive backlash, B Praak has chimed in and expressed his disappointment towards the situation on Instagram. He announced that he would not be attending the podcast episode he was scheduled for. He publicly called out Ranveer Allahbadia for his highly offensive comment. Going further, the singer highlighted the pathetic language used in the episode.
B Praak urges comedians to stop using abusive language
The singer did not stop there, he pointed out Ranveer’s controversial comment and deemed such content to not be comedy or stand-up. Next, B Praak criticised comedian Jaspreet Singh for promoting crude language and questioned the morals and values of today’s youth. He referenced a previous episode where influencer Maheep Singh made jokes that were directed towards mothers. Bringing up his religion, B Praak asked if such behaviour was appropriate for a Sikh individual. ‘Mummy kaisi hai?’ Are you crazy? Aap kya sikh de rahe ho logon ko? Aap kya sikh de rahe ho? Aur woh Sardar ji apne Instagram pe bilkul daalte hain ke main gaaliyan deta hoon, toh isme kya problem hai? Humein problem hai aur rahegi,” said B Praak.

After a long rant, B Praak urged comedians to preserve the Indian culture use their influence for good and not spread harmful ideas.
