New Delhi: Bollywood actor Govinda has experienced several ups and downs. His father, Arun Kumar Ahuja who was also an actor, ventured into film production after starring in nearly 30 films as a lead. However, all his productions flopped, leading to financial struggles. Once living in a lavish bungalow on Bandra’s Carter Road in Mumbai the Ahuja family was forced to relocate to a small house in Virar. And that is where Bollywood’s Hero No. 1 was born.

Despite these hardships, Govinda followed in his father’s footsteps and made a name for himself in the film industry. Through sheer hard work, he purchased a home in Mumbai’s posh Juhu locality, where he now owns two houses.

Govinda and Sunita Ahuja stay in separate homes

A few months before the rumour of their divorce surfaced, Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, mentioned in an interview that while she and their children reside in one of their Juhu homes, Govinda lives separately in another house.

As his career flourished, the actor bought his first flat in the ‘Jal Darshan’ building in Juhu. Over time, he also acquired two adjacent flats, eventually merging them into a spacious duplex home. This house holds special significance for the actor and his family, as it was the venue for his wedding and the birthplace of his children, Tina Ahuja and Yashvardhan Ahuja. However, according to Sunita, she and their children continue to live in this luxurious home, while Govinda resides separately in another property.

Where does Govinda live?

Govinda’s second home, a bungalow in ‘Golden Beach Society,’ is merely 100 steps (approximately 67 meters) away from his original residence. Reports suggest that Govinda now stays in this bungalow, which also houses his personal office. The actor is said to manage most of his work from this office. Despite living apart, Govinda’s two homes are nearby—just a short walk and a right turn from each other.

Govinda divorce

Rumours started swirling after a Reddit post suggested that 61-year-old Govinda and Sunita were on the verge of divorce. The post also alleged that the split was due to the actor’s rumoured affair with a younger actress. However, neither Govinda nor Sunita has addressed these claims.
