New Delhi: Actor Varun Kulkarni, who played a role in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki is battling ‘severe kidney issues’ and is currently admitted to a hospital. The actor requires dialysis two to three times a week, along with regular medical care and emergency hospital visits.

His friend Roshaan Shetty has now requested financial help as the expenses for Varun’s treatment are continuously mounting. The actor’s friend also added that he lost his parents at a very young age and he needs financial support for his treatment. Roshaan also shared that despite their effort to raise funds, the treatment’s expense keeps mounting and urged people to help him. As Varun battles a major health issue, let’s explore who he is.

Who is Varun Kulkarni?

Actor Varun Kulkarni started his career in 2013 as a theatre artist. In his 15+ years career in theatre, he has been a part of different theatre groups including Ankur Rangbhoomi, Rangshila, Tamaasha Theatre, Atheros Theatre and Niche Stagecraft, among others. He has also appeared in several Bollywood movies and web series including Scam 1992-The Harshad Mehta Story, The Family Man Season One, Sardar Ka Grandson, Salman Khan’s Tubelight, Mere Pyaare Prime Minister, Ghoomketu and Dunki.
