However, Khan has now denied marrying her after proposing to her. He cited that, since he is a Pakistani, his marriage to her wouldn’t be acceptable to many, but he promised her that she would become the daughter-in-law of Pakistan.

Earlier this week, Rakhi Sawant confirmed her wedding with Dodi Khan in an interview with News18 and said that the duo would have a cross-border love marriage. Who is Dodi Khan?

Belonging to a business family in Pakistan, Dodi Khan is known for his acting and filmmaking. He also describes himself as a “fitness freak”. As per IMDb, the Pakistani actor spends hours in the gym to maintain his toned body.

Additionally, he considers Nabeel Zafar as his mentor. He also expressed his admiration for Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan. In one of the interviews earlier, he said that he is very much “influenced by Sanjay Dutt, his life and his story”. He further added that Salman’s charitable work had inspired him.

What did Rakhi say about the wedding?

Earlier, in an interview with News18, Rakhi Sawant revealed that she and Dodi Khan would get married in Pakistan following Islamic rituals, followed by a wedding reception in India. She also shared that they plan to honeymoon in Switzerland or the Netherlands and later settle in Dubai.

Rakhi was previously married to Adil Khan Durrani, and the two parted ways after she levelled serious allegations against him, accusing him of an extramarital affair. Prior to Adil, she was married to Ritesh Raj Singh.
