Thandel plot

For the unversed, the captain of the ship, the one who leads the entire crew, is addressed as Thandel. The movie is believed to be based on a true story. It was released in cinemas on Friday (February 7, 2025).

The storyline of the film centers around the experience of fishermen who accidentally drifted into Pakistani waters during one of their trips. Unexpected twists and turns in the plot elevate the entertainment quotient for viewers.

Thandel, presented by Allu Aravind, has been directed by renowned filmmaker Chandoo Mondeti and produced by Bunny Vasu under Geetha Arts. While Devi Sri Prasad has composed its music, cinematography has been handled by Shamdat Sainudeen.
