After their hit pairing in Simmba (2018), the duo has reunited for what filmmaker Rohit Shetty is calling the “biggest blockbuster of 2025.” But is it a film, an ad, or something entirely unexpected? That’s the question fans are asking after the Singham director shared a cryptic teaser on social media.

The clip starts with the two stars in a vibrant, high-energy setting—Ranveer sporting long scruffy hair with a red headband, while Sara stuns in a fusion desi outfit. Their undeniable chemistry is on full display as they dance and enjoy each other’s company.

But then, in true Rohit Shetty fashion, things take a dramatic turn. The scene shifts to an intense moment where an angry, weapon-wielding crowd surrounds them, leaving viewers wondering whether this is a love story or a full-blown action thriller.

Along with the teaser, Rohit added an intriguing caption: “Drama, action, romance – sab milega ek hi kahani mein! 2025 ka biggest blockbuster coming soon. #ComingSoon.” The clip also poses a mysterious question: “Kya hoga pyaar? Ya hogi takraar?” (Will it be love? Or will there be conflict?)

This, of course, sent fans into a frenzy. Some are convinced that it’s a film announcement, while others believe it could be a commercial project. The comments section was flooded with excitement, confusion, and a whole lot of speculation.

One enthusiastic fan wrote, “Wow! Wonderful to see you doing another film with your lucky mascots! All the best!” Another user, clearly hoping for a sequel, commented, “Simmba 2 incoming!”. However, not everyone was sure, with one user asking, “Doubt clear to Karo movie hai ya kuch aur? @itsrohitshetty” (Please clarify if this is a movie or something else?).

On the work front

Ranveer Singh was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s 2024 film Singham Again, reprising his role as Simmba in the director’s cop universe. Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan was recently seen in Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya starrer Sky Force. Interestingly, the actress was cast opposite her ex-boyfriend Veer in the Maddock Films production.
