Ram Charan starrer Game Changer’s opening day collections leave netizens in disbelief

New Delhi: There is no denying that Ram Charan enjoys a massive fan following across the globe. After the blockbuster success of SS Rajamouli’s RRR, the popularity of the 39-year-old actor has multiplied manifold. However, some netizens are in disbelief over the opening day collections of his recently released film, Game Changer.

Sri Venkateswara Creations, the production company behind the S Shankar directorial, on Saturday (January 11, 2025) took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to reveal the Day 1 Box Office figures of the movie. According to their post, the movie grossed more than Rs 186 crore globally on its theatrical debut.

Despite the impressive numbers, some social media users are not convinced with the figure. “100cr+ faking on Day 1. Never before in Indian history,” posted a user on the microblogging platform. Another commented, “Instead of focusing on releasing fake Box Office numbers, they could have paid more attention to making a proper film.” Such remarks have ignited heated discussions online among fans.

For the unversed, Game Changer took the silver screen by storm on Friday (January 10, 2025), coinciding with the joyous occasion of Sankranthi. The movie also stars Anjali, Kiara Advani, SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Sunil, Jayaram and Samuthirakani in pivotal roles.
