Pushpa 2: The Rule BO collection Day 48 – Earnings of Allu Arjun starrer dip further

New Delhi: Over the past few weeks, Pushpa 2: The Rule gave Indian cinema a much-needed boost. The Allu Arjun starrer not only broke numerous Box Office records but also set milestones that seem far from being broken in the near future. After a remarkably successful run in cinemas, the much-talked-about film’s Box Office collections are now witnessing a dip.

The earnings of the Sukumar directorial on the 48th day of its release continued to be below Rs one crore. As per Sacnilk, early estimates suggest that the movie collected Rs 50 lakh on Tuesday (January 21, 2025). If the figure turns out to be accurate, then the total domestic collection of the flick now stands at Rs 1,229.40 crore, according to the industry tracker. While a large portion of this amount comes from the Hindi-dubbed version of the sequel to Pushpa: The Rise, the original Telugu version performed exceptionally fine as well.

If we talk about the global collection, the makers of Pushpa 2: The Rule on January 6, 2025, took to Instagram to share an exciting update. It was revealed that the film has crossed the Rs 1,831 crore mark at the worldwide Box Office in just 32 days.

Alongside the 42-year-old hunk, Pushpa 2: The Rule also featured Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Dhananjaya, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Ajay in pivotal roles. It was released on the silver screen on December 5, 2024.

The story of Pushpa 2: The Rule was left on a cliffhanger by the makers. A threequel in the blockbuster franchise was also teased towards the end. The next installment in the Pushpa series is titled Pushpa 3: The Rampage. However, further details—including the release date and star cast—of the upcoming project have not been disclosed yet. At the same time, it is expected that Pushpa 3: The Rampage will also raise the bar at the Box Office upon its theatrical release.
