Moviegoers can now create customised shows at their preferred cinemas – Here’s how

New Delhi: Attention, cinema lovers! You can now create or join customised shows at your preferred cinemas. No, we are not kidding. This exciting new feature has been introduced by PVR INOX Ltd. The cinema chain on Monday (January 20, 2025) took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to make the social announcement. Apparently, this has been done in response to the strong consumer interest in re-released films.

SCREENIT, a platform introduced by the company, is available exclusively on the PVR INOX app. It allows customers to curate their own movie experiences. Moviegoers now have the opportunity to relive classics and fan favourites. PVR INOX was quoted by PTI as saying in a statement that audiences can choose from a diverse library of over 500 titles and create community-driven screenings.

What is SCREENIT?

The SCREENIT platform allows users to browse through a wide selection of movies. You will be amazed to know that they can also pick their preferred cinema and time. It will also enable them to book tickets at their convenience.

Additionally, viewers can create shows of their choice by selecting the movie, timing and location. It is to be noted that only a minimum of two tickets are required to do so. Users can also invite friends or join shows created by other movie enthusiasts. Amazing, isn’t it?
