‘I’m scared’: Ranveer Allahbadia opens up about death threats amid controversy

New Delhi: Ranveer Allahbadia is a YouTuber who is known for his in-depth podcasts with popular personalities. With a huge following on social media, the YouTuber was riding new heights of success every day. However, after a controversial remark on Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent, his life seems to have been in shambles. The YouTuber is facing several FIRs and online backlash on a nationwide scale.

Ranveer was reportedly MIA for a short period, but now he has finally addressed the fallout of the controversy. In yet another apology the YouTuber has vowed to cooperate with the authorities and follow due procedure. Here is what Ranveer Allahbadia said.

Ranveer Allahbadia opens up about death threats following controversy

On his official Instagram post, Ranveer Allahbadia posted an apology and insisted that he is cooperating with the police and following due process amid the controversy. On February 11, Ranveer posted a video apologising for his comments on India’s Got Latent. Today (February 15), the YouTuber apologised once again and said, “My remark about parents was insensitive and disrespectful. It is my moral responsibility to do better and I am genuinely sorry.”

Further, Ranveer opened up about the death threats he and his family have been receiving from all over India. Shockingly, he revealed that a few individuals, posed as patients ‘invaded’ his mother’s clinic. He admitted feeling scared and not knowing what to do when the situation has escalated to such heights. Ranveer ends the statement with, “…But I am not running away. I have full faith in the police and the judicial system of India.”
