Game Changer’s Box Office rollercoaster: Triumph or tragedy?

New Delhi: Ram Charan and Kiara Advani starrer Game Changer had a promising start at the box office on its opening day. However, the film witnessed a major dip in its collection during its opening weekend. According to early estimates by industry tracker Sacnilk, Shankar’s directorial only managed to collect Rs 17 crore on its third day, taking the India nett total to Rs 89.6 crore.

Made on a staggering budget of Rs 450 crore, it looks a bit tough for the movie to cross its budget to become a blockbuster at the box office. It also marks Shankar’s Telugu directorial debut. However, it has so far performed better than Shankar’s last release, Indian 2, which tanked at the ticket window.

Day-Wise Box Office Collection of Game Changer

Game Changer collection Day 1

On its opening day, Game Changer earned Rs 51.00 crore in India (net collection) and Rs 80.10 crore worldwide, according to Sacnilk.

Game Changer collection Day 2

The second-day collections of Game Changer showed a significant decline compared to its opening day.

• Day 1 India Net Collection: Rs 51.00 crore
• Day 2 India Net Collection: Rs 21.60 crore

This marks a 57.65 per cent drop in the India net collection from Day 1 to Day 2.

• Day 1 Worldwide Collection: Rs 80.10 crore
• Day 2 Worldwide Collection: Rs 28.70 crore

The worldwide earnings also saw a sharp decline, with a 64.15 per cent drop from Day 1 to Day 2.

After two days, the total collections stood at:

• India Net Collection: Rs 72.60 crore
• Worldwide Collection: Rs 108.80 crore

Game Changer collection Day 3

On the third day at the domestic box office, Game Changer witnessed a further dip of 21.30 per cent and collected Rs 17 crore.

Day 3: Rs 17.00 crore
