Game Changer on OTT: When to stream Ram Charan’s action entertainer online?

New Delhi: Ram Charan and Kiara Adavani’s recently released Telugu film Game Changer might not be a hit–as per Urvashi Rautela’s viral meme. However, the release of the film during Makar Sankranti created significant buzz online. Just a month after its grand premiere, Prime Video has announced the OTT release date for Game Changer.

For those who do not know, the Ram Charan-starrer hit the theatres on January 10. Now, the movie is all set to stream online on the OTT giant Prime Video. Scroll down to read the details about it!

Game Changer OTT release date

On Tuesday (February 4), the official social media handle of Prime Video India dropped the string poster of Game Changer, announcing its OTT release date. “Raa macha, buckle up (face with sunglasses emoji). The rules are about to CHANGE (eyes emoji). #GameChangerOnPrime, Feb 7 (sic),” the caption read.

Game Changer will stream in Telugu along with its dubbed versions in Tamil and Malayalam on Prime Video India on February 7. However, the OTT giant or the makers have not announced the release date of the Hindi dubbed version.

Game Changer features SJ Suryah, Nassar, Sunil, Prakash Raj, and Jayaram in key roles. The film’s teaser was launched at a grand event in Lucknow, attended by the cast, including Kiara Advani and director S Shankar. The over-one-minute teaser showcases Ram Charan transitioning from academia to action, featuring high-octane fight sequences and romantic moments with Kiara. Set against a political backdrop, the film revolves around an IAS officer’s battle against corrupt politicians to ensure fair elections.

After the film’s impressive opening of Rs 51.25 crore at the Indian box office, Ram Charan expressed gratitude on social media, saying, “This Sankranti, my heart is filled with gratitude for making all the hard work we put into Game Changer truly worth it. My heartfelt appreciation goes to the entire cast, crew, and everyone behind the scenes who contributed to the film’s success.”

However, the film’s box office performance has steadily declined, with its current collection standing at Rs 130.1 crore in India, according to industry-tracker Sacnilk.com.
