New Delhi: Game Changer, starring Ram Charan in the lead, is being touted as the first major release of 2025. The political action thriller has generated significant pre-release buzz on social media, with fans eagerly anticipating its performance at the box office. Early estimates suggest a strong opening, but the final numbers are yet to be confirmed.

Game Changer Day 1 Box Office Estimates

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, early estimates indicate that Game Changer has collected approximately Rs 17.61 crore in India, at the time of writing on Friday (January 10, 2025). These numbers are provisional and could increase as screenings progress throughout the day. The final Day 1 figure will likely be available after all showings conclude.

For the unversed, the film marks the Telugu debut of renowned filmmaker S Shankar. It also stars Kiara Advani, Anjali, Samuthirakani, SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Sunil, Jayaram, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Naveen Chandra and Vennela Kishore in pivotal roles.

Ram Charan recalls old meeting with S Shankar

During a media interaction, Ram Charan recalled, “S Shankar made a remake of 3 Idiots in the South. It was called Nanban. When they released it in Telugu, I was the chief guest for the event. I was sitting right next to Shankar sir, trying to gather the courage to ask him to make a film in Telugu. But I did not have the guts to say it.” He added that years later, Dil Raju approached him with the news that Shankar wanted to work.
