Saif Ali Khan stabbing case: Two suspects questioned, fingerprints under examination

New Delhi: Investigations are in full swing and probing authorities are leaving no stone unturned to uncover the truth behind the Saif Ali Khan stabbing case. As per the latest updates, Mumbai Police are questioning two suspects who bear a strong resemblance to the attacker.

According to TV9, the police have not cleared these two suspects yet. It is reported that their fingerprints are being examined by the forensic team to verify their involvement.

Meanwhile, CCTV visuals of a suspect brought to Bandra Police Station for questioning on January 17 have surfaced. It appears to be from the Versova area and shows the individual entering a building to commit theft. The man stole shoes from outside a house.

The suspect was caught on CCTV during the theft and his appearance apparently matches that of the intruder who broke into Saif’s house. However, no direct evidence linking him to Saif’s case has been found. The police have not given him a clean chit so far.

Saif Ali Khan’s health update

The renowned actor was rushed to Lilavati Hospital after sustaining multiple injuries in the brutal attack by an intruder in the early hours of Thursday (January 16, 2025). The 54-year-old star is reportedly recovering well and is expected to be discharged in the coming days.

Dr Nitin Dange, a neurosurgeon at Lilavati Hospital, was quoted as saying that they are closely monitoring Saif’s progress and it is aligned with their expectations. Dr Dange further stated that a team of doctors had examined the actor and even made him walk.
