New Delhi: Ranveer Allahbadia, popularly known as BeerBiceps, is making headlines for all the wrong reasons. While he is already facing massive backlash for his controversial remarks on India’s Got Latent, fresh reports suggest that he and his rumoured girlfriend Nikki Sharma have also called it quits.

While the duo never officially confirmed their relationship, they were frequently spotted together, fueling dating speculations. However, a recent report by Bollywood Shaadis claims that the two have now unfollowed each other on Instagram. Naturally, fans were quick to assume that the alleged couple had broken up.

Did Ranveer Allahbadia and Nikki Sharma break up?

As of now, Ranveer has not addressed these rumours and Nikki has also remained silent on the matter. However, the timing of this alleged breakup has raised eyebrows, considering it coincides with the controversy surrounding Ranveer’s viral comments on India’s Got Latent.

For the unversed, Ranveer found himself in hot water after his appearance on comedian Samay Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent. During an episode, he allegedly asked a contestant an inappropriate question involving body parts and even proposed an indecent act in exchange for Rs 2 crore.

Additionally, one of his questions did not sit well with fans and quickly went viral, drawing criticism from all corners of social media. Many slammed Ranveer for promoting obscenity under the guise of comedy.

Following the uproar, a police complaint was filed against Ranveer, host Samay Raina, and fellow judges Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, and Apoorva Makhija. The FIR accused them of promoting explicit content and violating multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Ranveer’s Allahbadia’s public apology

Realising the gravity of the situation, the popular YouTuber issued a public apology through a video statement. He admitted that his comment was not only inappropriate but also unfunny. “Comedy is not my forte. I am just here to say sorry. Many of you asked if this is how I wish to use my platform, and obviously, this is not how I wish to use it. I won’t give any context or justification—I am just here to apologise,” he said in the clip.
