New Delhi: Reality TV star and Roadies mentor Prince Narula found himself in the eye of a storm. For those who do not know, a contestant has accused him and his wife Yuvika Chaudhary of demanding a Rs 20 lakh bribe for a spot on the show. The controversy unfolded during the audition round of MTV Roadies Double Cross, leaving both the judges and the audience in shock.

During a recent audition, a contestant made a bold claim that Prince and Yuvika had asked for a hefty sum in exchange for an audition slot. The allegation surfaced when host Rannvijay Singha opened a contestant’s file, revealing the serious charge against Prince.

Prince Narula shuts down claims

Known for his fiery personality, Prince wasted no time in shutting down the claims. He strongly denied the accusations, stating, “Mera bhai pichle paanch saal se aa raha hai auditions dene aur last year ke baad usne finally band kiya auditions dena kyunki uska nahi hua! Aur maine kisi ko nahi bola ki mera bhai aa raha hai please dekhna, khud auditions de aur aa (My brother has been giving auditions for the past five years, and after last year, he finally stopped because he didn’t get selected! And I never told anyone that my brother was coming and to please consider him—he auditioned on his own and came).”

The situation turned even more heated when another contestant, Dayali, alleged that Siwet Tomar, a participant from last season had secured his spot by reaching out to Yuvika Chaudhary. That was the last straw for Prince. Furious, he shot back, “If this was just about me, I wouldn’t have said anything. But now that you’ve mentioned my wife, I won’t stay silent.” His reaction made it clear that he wasn’t going to let false claims tarnish their reputation.

To uncover the truth, the original source of the allegation, Kushdheer, was called in. But in a surprising turn, he completely denied ever mentioning money, exposing the entire controversy as a baseless rumour. Outraged by the false claims, Prince lashed out, saying, “Tujhe lagta hai hum bikau hain. (Do you think we are for sale?).”
