New Delhi: Netflix’s popular dystopian survival thriller, Squid Game Season 3, is scheduled to release on June 27, 2025. The highly acclaimed South Korean web series is inspired by Hwang Dong-hyuk’s economic struggles, the class divide in South Korea and the 2009 Ssangyong strikes.

Earlier, the makers dropped several photos from Season 3 of Squid Game, sparking much buzz among fans. In the pictures, the players and frontman are seen during the life-threatening Squid Game. Squid Game 3: What to expect?

According to recent leaks, Squid Game Season 3 will comprise six episodes. As per the creator, Hwang the final season will be wrapped up with a deadly confrontation between Gi-Hun and the mysterious Front Man. It will also pick up after the aftermath in Season 2 where Ji-Hun’s best friend is shot dead by the Frontman and he is captured by the Squid Game authorities.

Ever since the end of Season 2, there have been several fan theories that are doing rounds on the internet. While many shared that Ji-Hun will become the Front Man at the end of the season, others assumed that many participants in the Squid Game are VIPs.

Squid Game 3: Plot

The web series, Squid Game Season 3, follows the story of 456 individuals who risk their lives by playing a deadly children’s game to win a massive cash prize. The first season of the popular series was released on September 17, 2021, and became one of the most-watched series on Netflix.
