New Delhi: Chris Martin had a record-breaking concert at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on January 26, 2025. With over 1.34 lakh attendees in a day, the Music of the Spheres World Tour in our country saw the largest Indian concert crowd ever. Following the successful show, Coldplay’s frontman, Chris Martin hopped over to Prayagraj to attend the Mahakumbh Mela 2025.

A fan, Bharat Chaudhary was the one who spotted the couple at the event and took to Instagram to share it with the world. In the clip, Chris and Dakota are seen submerging themselves to take a dip at the Sangam. Chris then spots the camera and smiles at them. “When you chose Kumbh over Coldplay but Mahadev has different plans and Coldplay comes to you!! Chris Martin wins for his respect to triveni Sangam and kumbh!” captioned the fan.

Upon seeing this video, fans have appreciated Chris’ attempts to embrace Indian cultures and rituals without hesitation. Fans who were unaware of Chris’ initial spotting at Prayagraj were pleasantly surprised by the viral video “Chris Martin and Dakota at Kumbh?!
