CID Season 2: When and where to watch fresh episodes of popular crime show?

New Delhi: All 90s kids, gear up! The much-awaited second season of the hit crime thriller TV show, CID, is now coming on Netflix India. The first season of CID premiered on SonyLIV and now, viewers can watch Season 2 on Netflix and SonyLIV. CID has a massive fanbase, and recently, it returned in a web format on digital platforms, leaving fans excited.

The show will be available to watch on Sony TV and SonyLIV as usual and additionally on Netflix. Let’s delve into further details!

CID Season 2: When and where to watch?

The popular TV show CID will start streaming on Netflix on Friday, February 21. and fresh episodes will air every Saturday and Sunday at 10 pm, starting from February 22. The second season will have a total of 18 episodes. The official announcement was made by Netflix India on their official Instagram account.

CID Season 2: Promo

In the new promo of CID Season 2, the makers introduce ACP Pradyuman, Daya and Abhijeet. It starts with ACP Pradyuman saying his iconic line, ‘Kuch toh gadbad hai’ (Something is not right), followed by intense action sequences. It then concludes with Pradyuman Daya, ‘Daya, darwaza tod’ (Daya, break the door), and he does, showing his CID identity card.

Sharing the promo, Netflix India wrote, “CID, ab Netflix ke darwaze par bhi 🔥💥 Kal se dekhiye CID naye season ke saare released episodes Netflix par bhi! Saath hi naye episodes har Shanivaar aur Ravivaar raat 10 baje🕵️‍♂️.”

CID is one of India’s longest-running TV series, having aired on Sony TV for 20 years. The first episode of CID aired in 1998, and the show concluded in 2018. The team of CID even celebrated the milestone of completing 1,500 episodes. The show then returned in a web format on December 21, 2024, after a six-year hiatus.

The cast of CID includes Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty, Aditya Srivastava, Ansha Sayed, Narendra Gupta, Ajay Nagrath, and others.
