BLACKPINK’s Lisa injured while filming Born Again MV – BLINKS show massive support

New Delhi: BLACKPINK’s Lisa is known for her fierce stage presence but behind the glamour there’s a level of grit and dedication that often goes unseen. Recently, the K-pop idol revealed that she suffered an injury while filming the music video for her latest single–Born Again.

During a live broadcast on Bubble, the Moonlit Floor crooner casually mentioned how she got hurt on set. While filming an intense scene for Born Again, she took a fall that left her with a deep scratch on her leg. The wound started bleeding but instead of making a fuss she laughed it off, calling it her “battle wound.” Fans, however, were not as nonchalant.

A few weeks later, Lisa shared behind-the-scenes photos from the shoot including a close-up of her fresh wound. The image, which showed a more serious injury than she had initially described, immediately went viral. Concerned fans flooded social media with messages of support, using hashtags like #GetWellSoonLisa and #BornAgainMV to express their admiration for her resilience.

Lisa’s injury quickly became more than just a fan discussion. It dominated online trends and even made it to Naver’s top 10 most-viewed news articles of the day. Various South Korean media outlets covered the story. The incident also reignited conversations about the rigorous demands placed on K-pop idols who often push through exhaustion and injuries for their art.

Taking to her IG post’s comment section, BLINKS flooded ‘Get Well Soon’ messages for Lisa. One wrote, “Queen behaviour.” Another added, “Oh no not the cut!” A third user wrote, “I love you baby, hope you okay, last slide make ma crying.” A fourth user added, “But last slide make me hurt, hope u okay with that.”

Despite the injury, Lisa’s Born Again music video was released on February 7 and has already become a global sensation. The stunning cinematography and powerful visuals have drawn praise from fans and critics alike. The track features high-profile collaborations with American rapper Doja Cat and British singer-songwriter RAYE, making it one of the most anticipated releases of the year.
