Ajith Kumar involved in 2 car crashes during high-speed racing event in Spain | What we know so far

New Delhi: Sending shockwaves throughout the entertainment arena and the internet, Ajith Kumar was recently involved in two car crashes during a high-speed racing event in Valencia. The concerning piece of news was shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) by the Tamil superstar’s manager Suresh Chandra.

A video was also posted on social media, capturing the moment when the 53-year-old hunk’s car rear-ended another racer’s vehicle. As a result, it flipped multiple times before coming to a halt in the Spanish city.

It is to be noted that Ajith, who owns the racing team Ajith Kumar Racing, was participating in the Porsche Sprint Challenge: Southern Europe competition. The first two rounds of the race took place in Portugal’s Portimão, while the next two were held in Estoril.

In Valencia Spain where the races were happening the Round 5 was good for Ajith kumar. He ended 14th place winning appreciations from every one.

The harrowing turn of events left fans worried. “Ajith is a warrior. He is blessed with his ancestors’ blessings. He has his family, friends and fans’ true prayers. He will be an eternal winner. God bless,” commented a netizen. Another wrote, “Thala, stop racing. Don’t risk your life. You have a beautiful family. This is not the age for risking your life.”

Chandra stated that Ajith, after completing the fifth round of the race without incident, finished in 14th place. He added that the renowned silver screen actor toppled twice after the second crash but came out unscathed again to continue the race. “AK is all right,” Chandra mentioned in his X post.

Ajith in Vidaamuyarchi

Ajith was last seen in cinemas in Vidaamuyarchi. The action thriller, directed by renowned filmmaker Magizh Thirumeni, was produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under Lyca Productions. It was believed to be inspired by the 1997 American film Breakdown, starring Kurt Russell in the lead.

Vidaamuyarchi also featured Arjun Sarja, Trisha Krishnan, Regina Cassandra, Arav and Ramya Subramanian in pivotal roles. The storyline of the movie revolved around an individual whose wife gets captured by a mysterious group, leading him to embark on a rescue mission to bring her back.
