Aashiqui 3: Curious case of Triptii Dimri exiting the Kartik Aaryan starrer

New Delhi: It has been more than a decade since the release of Aashiqui 2 and the level of anticipation among fans has reached its peak for the arrival of the third installment in the blockbuster franchise. Earlier, it was being said that Triptii Dimri and Kartik Aaryan would lead the upcoming project. However, that is not the case anymore.

If social media buzz is to be believed, the 30-year-old actress has now exited the ambitious project, leading to speculations about the much-talked-about film being postponed indefinitely. Although, there is no official confirmation about this so far.

With this, fans are wondering what exactly led to the Animal diva leaving the movie. Well, let’s find out!

A source has informed Zoom that Triptii didn’t meet the requirement to fit into the character. The media outlet further quoted the source as saying that the key parameter for casting Aashiqui 3’s female lead is innocence.

And, the team of the flick noticed that Triptii had become too exposed, judging by her recent releases, to headline the romantic film, which demands purity in demeanour. It is believed that a hunt is on by the makers to find a new female lead for Aashiqui 3.
