Aamir Khan reviews Naga Chaitanya starrer Thandel – Here’s what he has to say

New Delhi: The trailer of Naga Chaitanya’s much-anticipated movie, Thandel, was launched at a grand event in Mumbai. The event was also attended by the superstar Aamir Khan, who was the chief guest at the event. During the event, Aamir reviewed Chandoo Mondeti’s directorial.

While Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan is set to make his big-screen debut with Loveyapa, which is scheduled to release around the same time as Thandel, Aamir wasn’t worried about the clash and said that both films would be superhits. During the trailer launch of Thandel in Mumbai, Aamir Khan was asked about the box office clash between Loveyapa and the Naga Chaitanya starrer. The actor praised both the films and said, “Both films will be super hits. I’ll tell you why… both have a great storyline. Both films will do well.”

Thandel is inspired by the real-life incident in 2018 where a group of fishermen from Andhra Pradesh inadvertently crossed into Pakistan and were detained. In an interview with Zig Wheels, Chaitanya said that Sai Pallavi’s role is pivotal in the plot because the wife of one fisherman fought for their release and the government’s intervention.

During the trailer launch, Naga Chaitanya called Aamir Khan’s presence at the event a “truly magical moment”. He further added that he might invite the actor for his every film with Sai Pallavi, considering the luck factor.

He also recalled the time he spent with Aamir on the sets of Laal Singh Chaddha, saying that it had a lasting impression on both his professional and personal life.
