New Delhi: Sohum Shah’s latest film, Crazxy, hit theaters on Friday, but the opening numbers haven’t been too promising. The psychological thriller, directed by Girish Kohli, managed to collect Rs 90 lakh on day one, struggling to find its footing against the box office juggernaut, Chhaava.

Despite the actor’s growing fanbase after the re-release of Tumbbad, Crazxy opened to limited footfalls. According to Sacnilk, the film added just Rs 4 lakh from Saturday morning shows, bringing its total to Rs 94 lakh so far. Meanwhile, Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal, is dominating theaters with massive collections. The historical epic raked in Rs 13 crore on its second Friday, officially crossing the Rs 400 crore mark. The contrast is clear—mass entertainers are pulling in huge numbers, while smaller, multiplex-oriented films are struggling to compete.
