New Delhi: Television actress Rozlyn Khan has filed a defamation lawsuit against Ankita Lokhande for calling her “cheap”. The legal action comes after Ankita Lokhande slammed Rozlyn for accusing Hina Khan of using her cancer treatment as a publicity stunt and spreading misleading information. Later, Rozlyn hit back at Ankita and asked her to “stay out of it”.

Their public feud has garnered significant limelight in media and among fans. In an interview with Filmygyan, Rozlyn slammed Hina for not revealing details about her chemotherapy. She also questioned how the actress could go scuba diving after undergoing a 15-hour chemotherapy session.

Rozlyn sues Ankita Lokhande

On Tuesday (February 11), Ankita took to Instagram and shared a video where Rozylyn could be heard saying that Hina Khan is “using her cancer journey to top Google search results”. After the post, Rozlyn took legal action against Ankita and also shared the court documents related to the case. The documents outline her claims and the reason for a defamation suit.

Rozlyn also shared a post on Instagram which read, “A woman who could use the death of his ex for a big boss is preaching to me about cheapness!! Not a big surprise… aa gai sasti publicity lene!!”

Khan also lashed out at Rakhi Sawant for interfering in the ongoing controversy between her and Hina Khan regarding the cancer claims. She further accused Rakhi of adding fuel to the fire and involving herself in personal matters that do not concern her.

What did Ankita say?

Defending Hina Khan, Ankita penned a long note on Instagram where she slammed Rozlyn for calling Hina’s cancer a publicity stunt. She wrote, “How could someone think so low, my goodness? That’s so cheap!”. She further added that Hina is fighting cancer with “bravery” and she is saying it because she “knows it”. She also shared that her husband Vicky Jain met her a few days back in the hospital where she was undergoing chemotherapy for her breast cancer and he was in tears seeing the actress’ condition.
