New Delhi: In a monumental move to honour the legacy of Telugu cinema, the Telugu Film Chamber (TFCC) has announced that it has decided to present film awards annually on February 6, marking the birth anniversary of Telugu cinema, as per Hans India report. Additionally, TFCC announced that along with the awards given by the government, it will introduce its own awards.

The Telugu Film Chamber also stated that a special flag will be hoisted at the theatres and homes of every film actor on the birthday of Telugu cinema. Let’s delve into further details!

In a symbolic move, The Telugu Cinema Chamber will also hoist a special flag every year on February 6 in theatres and residences of the actors on February 6. It will be designed by Parichuri Gopalakrishna. Every year, February 6 will mark the official birth anniversary of Telugu Cinema. Starting in 2025, the day will not only be celebrated but new awards will also be introduced to recognize the work of Telugu artists.
