Stranger Things 5 is COMING! Duffer Brothers share big release update

New Delhi: Stranger Things is undoubtedly one of the most viewed shows on OTT across the globe. Over the years, the much-talked-about web series has developed a cult following among entertainment lovers. Fans are eagerly waiting for the digital premiere of season 5. But when will the upcoming installment in the hit franchise make its way online? Viewers have been asking this question for a while. However, now, there’s an exciting update.

According to a Variety report, the show’s creators – the Duffer brothers – reconfirmed to the audience at the SCAD TVfest, where they were honoured with the Variety Showrunners Award, that Stranger Things season 5 will be out in 2025. Ross Duffer was quoted as saying that the team is focused on visual effects sequences, which commenced in January 2025. He added that everything was going well and that they are actually ahead of schedule.

Matt Duffer stated that they are definitely on target. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that audiences are beaming with joy upon learning this. At the same time, it would be too early to comment on the exact release date of Stranger Things season 5. Also, it is unclear at the moment if all the episodes will drop at once or if the season will be split into two parts.
