New Delhi: Renowned singer-actress Selena Gomez broke down in tears after the President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced the deportation of illegal immigrants. Taking to Instagram on Monday (January 27), she shared an emotional video in which she was seen crying inconsolably. However, she deleted the clip later.

For the unversed, Selena Gomez has also been vocal about immigration issues in the past. In 2019, she produced a Netflix documentary titled Living Undocumented, which showed the struggles of eight undocumented families living in the US during Donald Trump’s administration.

In the now-deleted video, Selena Gomez expressed her anger over the ongoing immigration crackdown by US President Donald Trump. While crying, she said that people are getting attacked and she is sorry as she doesn’t understand. She further added, “I wish I could do something, but I can’t. I don’t know what to do.
