Sanam Teri Kasam re-release Day 5 collection: Romantic drama witnesses impressive run

New Delhi: Well, a couple of new Bollywood releases were recently released in cinemas. Being Valentine’s Week, love is in the air and viewers want to replicate the romance on the silver screen as well. But, apparently, it is one re-release that is working wonders for the audience. Yes, you guessed it right! Here, we are talking about Sanam Teri Kasam. You will be amazed to know that the romantic drama is currently ruling cinemas.

According to Sacnilk, the much-talked-about film raked in approximately Rs 3 crore on Tuesday (February 11, 2025). The industry tracker further stated that the total re-release collection of the movie is around Rs 21.75 crore net in 5 days.

It is believed that the flick is inching closer towards Rs 28-30 crore net in its first week. Well, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that Sanam Teri Kasam is attracting significant footfalls even after nine years of its initial release.

Written and directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, Sanam Teri Kasam marked the Hindi film debuts of Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane. It also featured Manish Chaudhari, Pyumori Mehta Ghosh, Murli Sharma, Sudesh Berry, Shraddha Das, Vijay Raaz and Rushad Rana in pivotal roles.

On IMDb (Internet Movie Database), Sanam Teri Kasam is rated 7.6 out of 10, with insights from almost 19 thousand users on the platform. Upon its original theatrical outing in 2016, the film received mostly mixed reviews and failed to shine brightly at the Box Office.

The storyline of the movie revolves around an awkward librarian and her tough neighbour. The plot intensifies as they fall in love, elevating the entertainment quotient, but unexpected twists and turns await ahead.

While Himesh Reshammiya served as the music composer for Sanam Teri Kasam, Chirantan Das handled the cinematography. It was produced by Deepak Mukut. Now, it will be really interesting to see how Sanam Teri Kasam performs in the coming days when Chhaava hits the big screen.
