Saif Ali Khan stabbing case: When will actor be discharged from Lilavati hospital?

New Delhi: Prayers and messages for a speedy recovery are pouring in from around the world after Saif Ali Khan was recently stabbed by an intruder. The renowned actor is currently recovering at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. While the 54-year-old star remains under medical supervision, fans are curious to know when he will be discharged. According to the latest reports, Saif will be discharged from the hospital on Tuesday (January 21, 2025). He is expected to leave the medical facility after 2 pm.

Crime scene recreated

The crime scene in the Saif Ali Khan stabbing case was recently recreated by Mumbai police along with the arrested accused. According to PTI, an official stated that a team of 20 officers arrived at the Satguru Sharan building in four police vans around 5:30 am today. The team is believed to have stayed on the premises for an hour.

The official was further quoted as saying that the police team entered the building through the front gate with the accused, identified as Shariful Islam Shehzad Mohammad Rohilla Amin Fakir. The Bangladeshi national was later taken to Bandra Railway Station, from where he boarded a train to Dadar after committing the crime.

Preliminary investigations suggest that Fakir hid in the garden of the Satguru Sharan building for approximately two hours after stabbing Saif on Thursday (January 16, 2025). He remained hidden to avoid being caught. Following the attack, Saif was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent surgery. The actor is said to be recovering well.
