How did Kanye West REACT to Bianca Censori’s bold Grammys outfit controversy?

New Delhi: Rapper Kanye West has now reacted to the controversy surrounding his wife Bianca Censori, who grabbed significant attention on social media after she attended the 67th Grammy Awards in a nude dress, violating the dress code. Kanye and Bianca arrived at the annual award event together.

Bianca arrived at the 67th Grammys in a long fur coat. Just before posing for the cameras, she took off her coat, unveiling a sheer dress that made her appear nude. As the pictures and videos went viral, it became a hot topic of discussion among social media users.

Taking to his Instagram Stories, he wrote in a post, “We beat the Grammys”. In the follow-up post, he wrote, “February 4th, 2025 My wife is the most Googled person on the planet called Earth” and shared a screenshot of Google Analytics. However, he deleted the post later.

Bianca Censori to face legal action?

Meanwhile, it was earlier being said that Bianca might face legal action for appearing nude at the 67th Grammy Awards. According to California Penal Code 314(1), her attire qualifies as indecent exposure for revealing her naked body and genitals in a public forum. Additionally, in 2013 Deadline reported that “exposed breasts, buttocks and genitals” are banned at the Grammys as a part of Standard and Practice Wardrobe Advisory by television network CBS. The Federal Communications Commission also states that “obscene content is prohibited on cable, satellite and broadcast TV and radio”.

However, according to The Hollywood Reporter, no action will be taken against her as the Los Angeles Police Department has not opened an investigation.

Earlier, reports claimed that West and Censori were escorted out of the Grammys, but later it was reported that the couple left the event after walking the red carpet.

As per an insider quoted by Page Six, Kanye West and Bianca Censori’s outfits were an attempt to “replicate the album cover of Vultures”. The cover featured West in all black, paired with a face mask, while Bianca featured naked in thigh-high boots and a black fabric.

Meanwhile, Kanye West was nominated for Best Rap Song at the Grammys for his song ‘Carnival’. However, he lost to Kendrick Lamar, who won for his Drake diss track ‘Not Like Us’.
