Saif Ali Khan stabbing case: Accused taken to National College Bus Stop – Know why

New Delhi: Since the past few days, the Saif Ali Khan stabbing case has been the talk of the town. While fans continue to pray for the speedy recovery of the 54-year-old actor, police seem to have intensified the investigation. According to the latest update, Shariful Islam Shehzad Mohammad Rohilla Amin Fakir – accused in the matter – was recently taken to the National College Bus Stop.

As per ANI, cops took Shehzad there to recreate the crime scene. Visuals from his visit to the National College Bus Stop have now surfaced on social media. Have a look:

For the unversed, the Bangladeshi national was staying in India illegally after changing his name to Vijay Das. He was arrested by the police on Sunday (January 19, 2025).

Fingerprints of accused collected

PTI quoted a Mumbai police official as saying on Monday (January 20, 2025) that multiple fingerprints of the accused have been collected from various spots as part of the probe. The official further mentioned that the actor’s Satguru Sharan building was visited by the local police and Crime Branch to collect samples.

It is being said that the fingerprints of the accused were found at the crime scene, including the duct shaft, the bathroom window from where he entered and exited and the ladder he used to enter from the duct. It is to be noted that, on Sunday, the metropolitan magistrate’s court in Bandra remanded the accused in 5-day police custody.

Saif was stabbed multiple times by the intruder inside his apartment on Thursday (January 16, 2025). Following the attack, the Bollywood hunk was rushed to Lilavati Hospital for medical treatment.
