Priyanka Chopra arrives in style at Mumbai Airport for brother’s wedding celebrations

New Delhi: Priyanka Chopra landed in Hyderabad last month to reportedly shoot SS Rajamouli’s upcoming tentatively titled film SSMB29. On Saturday, the actress shared an Instagram story of admiring Hyderabad’s night sky. Today (Sunday), the actress was spotted landing at Mumbai’s Kalina private airport.

Priyanka Chopra posed for the paparazzi in ber chic all-white look. But, what made Priyanka take a break from shooting and travel to Mumbai? Well, according to a report by The Hindustan Times, Priyanka is in the city to attend her brother’s upcoming wedding festivities. Get all the details inside.

The HT report states that Siddharth Chopra, Priyanka’s brother, is set to marry Neelam Upadhyay within the next few days. Pee-Cee will be honouring her responsibility as a sister and will reportedly stay in Mumbai for the entirety of the wedding schedule.

In August 2024, Priyanka was also part of her brother’s Hastakshar and ring ceremony. The couple have been dating for some time now. Reports dating back to 2019 show Neelam and Siddharth’s public appearances alongside Priyanka.

Priyanka Chopra takes break from SSMB29 shoot

Rumours suggest that Priyanka Chopra Jonas is a part of SS Rajamouli’s SSMB29 alongside Mahesh Babu. While neither the makers of the actress have confirmed this news, Priyanka’s Hyderabad visit points fans only in one direction. The entire SSMB29 project is under wraps as Rajamouli has enforced a ban on mobile phones and administered NDAs for the cast and crew.

SSMB29 is scheduled to begin full-scale production in April 2025 and is set to be released in either 2027 or 2029. Several media reports claim that Priyanka Chopra demanded a massive Rs 30 crore free for her role in the film, possibly making her the highest-paid actress in a Rajamouli film.
