Oscar Nominations 2025: Academy Awards nod to Anuja sparks joy among celebrities

New Delhi: Sparking a wave of joy and excitement on social media, Anuja on Thursday (January 23, 2025) secured a nomination in the Live Action Short category at the 97th Academy Awards. With Oscars 2025 just around the corner, expectations are riding high on the New Delhi-set short film to emerge victorious and claim the prestigious trophy.

For the unversed, Anuja is produced by Mindy Kaling, ⁠Guneet Monga Kapoor, ⁠Suchitra Mattai, ⁠Krushan Naik, ⁠Aaron Kopp, ⁠Ksheetij Saini, ⁠Alexandra Blaney and ⁠Devananda Graves, while Priyanka Chopra, Michael Graves and Anita Bhatia serve as executive producers. The film has been written and directed by Adam J Graves.
