New Delhi: The animated Disney musical adventure, Moana 2, has made its debut on OTT after a successful run in theatres. However, there is a catch. Although the movie is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video, it is only available for rent. The Disney film is expected to be released on Disney+Hotstar in March 2025, as per reports.

The film was released globally on November 27, 2024, and became the fourth highest-grossing movie of the year.
The film grossed $1.03 billion worldwide, including $449.9 million from the US and $576.7 million from international markets. As the Disney movie makes its debut on OTT on January 30, let’s explore other details about it.

Dwayne Johnson-starrer Moana 2 began streaming on VOD platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, and YouTube on January 30, 2025. The Disney animated movie is available to watch on rent on Amazon Prime Video for Rs 389. According to the India Forums report, the film’s Blue Ray and DVD versions are available for rent. The report also mentioned that the animated movie’s 4K HD version is set for release on March 18. Meanwhile, on Amazon Prime Video, rentals are available for 30 days to start watching and must be completed within 48 hours once started.
