New Delhi: Bollywood star Sonu Sood has made his grand debut as a director with Fateh. Released in cinemas on Friday (January 10, 2025), the much-anticipated film generated significant buzz on social media ahead of its theatrical release.

On Wednesday (January 8, 2025), the renowned actor took to Instagram to announce that tickets for Fateh on opening day would be priced at just Rs 99. Sonu said that this special pricing was implemented to make sure the movie reaches a wider audience. He also mentioned that the profit from Fateh will go to charity.

According to early reviews on X (formerly known as Twitter), Fateh has opened to mixed responses. One social media user posted, “What to say! Only action is the best part of this movie! Everything else doesn’t work properly. Just in the cinema hall, you wait for the action scenes or think when the movie will get over!” Another commented, “If you love Hollywood-style action, Fateh is the answer. The storyline revolves around an ex-special ops operative who delves into the depths of a cybercrime syndicate. The plot promises to shed light on the growing threat of cybersecurity breaches. Produced by Sonali Sood and Umesh KR Bansal, Fateh brings daring stunts and sleek cyber visuals to the screen. Its second trailer was released online on Monday (January 6, 2025).
