New Delhi: Actress Shweta Konnur Menon, popularly known as Malavika, has made a mark in the South Indian film industry with her stellar performances. Apart from her movies, her social media presence captured significant attention among her fans. She has worked in the Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada industries.

Despite being at the peak of her career, she stepped away from the industry in 2009. In 2007, she tied the knot with Suresh Menon, who is an architect and interior designer based in Mumbai. Actress Malavika shared a video of herself where she is seen looking at the camera, followed by a montage of her gorgeous pictures. She wrote in the caption, “The camera loves me and I love it back!”

She also shared a slew of her pictures from an event, wearing a grey co-ord set. In another photo, she can be seen soaking in the sun, wearing a black polka dot one-piece set at a beach location. The actress often flaunts her sartorial choices, gaining much appreciation from her fans.

Malavika made her Telugu debut with the 2000 film Chala Bagundi, directed by EVV Satyanarayana. She went on to act in Riya Nestama, Navvuthu Bathakalira, and Divinchandi. She also worked in Tamil movies including Unnai Thedi, Rojavanam, Vetri Kodi Kattu, Seenu, Lovely, Vadivelu Comedy Time, Perazhagan, and Chithiram Pesuthadi, among others. Her list of Kannada movies includes Naanu Naane, Gokarna, and Dil. She has also worked in two Malayalam movies including Phantom Pailey, and Ammakilikkoodu.
