Music director Pritam’s studio robbed

According to the official FIR, Pritam’s studio, Unimus Record Private Limited on the  Goregaon-Mulund Link Road was robbed on February 4, 2025. The report states that the cash was from producer Madhu Mantena for work-related purposes. Pritam’s manager, Vinit Chheda put away the bag in a drawer in the presence of staff members, Ashish Sayal, Ahmad Khan, and Kamal Disha. It was around 10:30 PM that Vinit Chheda discovered that the bag was missing.

According to Ahmad Khan, Ashish Sayal had taken the bag from the drawer, saying he was going to Pritam’s house to deliver it. Following up on this, Vinit found Ashish’s phone to be switched off. The staff members and Vinit went on to search the vicinity of the building but failed to locate him.

Working with the music director for seven years, Pritam initially believed that Ashish would return, however, he approached the police when there was no response.
