When host Rajat Sharma asked if she’d ever grace the silver screen again, Mamta’s response was as dramatic as her ’90s film roles. “Like milk that turns into ghee cannot return to its original shape, I shall never return to films,” she declared. So, for fans hoping for a Karan Arjun sequel cameo—sorry, it’s a hard no. Furthermore, she made it clear she’s done with the glitz and glam. “Ab lautne ka sawaal hi nahi uthta,” she said, leaving no room for speculation.

She even painted a stark picture of her financial struggles, mentioning that her three Mumbai apartments have been left to rot for over two decades. “They’re infested with termites,” she quipped, proving that not even former Bollywood divas are safe from the wrath of household pests.

On working with SRK and Salman Khan in Karan Arjun

Mamta Kulkari even spilled some fun Bollywood tea, recalling how Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan played pranks on her during the shooting of Karan Arjun. “They made me dance solo, hiding behind bushes and laughing. Karma hit back when they had to crawl on their knees for the next shot—25 retakes in front of 5,000 people!” she laughed. When asked who’s the bigger prankster, she didn’t hesitate: “Zyada shararati Salman tha.”

The veteran actress also addressed her infamous semi-nude Stardust cover from her teenage years. “I was in the ninth grade. They showed me a Demi Moore photo and I didn’t find it obscene,” she explained.
