One such character has been Disha Vakani’s Dayaben. However, ever since Dayaben’s hiatus from the show, fans have patiently waited for Disha to return to the role.

After these predictions, Popatlal dramatically announced that there would be new members joining their society. Among all these possibilities, Popatlal’s revelation about Dayaben’s return is what excited fans to no extent.

Asit Modi, the maker do the show has previously shared that he was doing everything in his power to bring Disha Vakani to the show. However, things seem to have changed recently. He spoke with News18 about Disha’s new life with her family. Asit Modi revealed that he hopes for a miracle that brings Disha back to the show. But, he also adds that if things do not work out, he will be looking for another actress to fill the role.

Disha Vakani left the show in September 2017 and is yet to return to her role. But, with Popatlal’s prediction, there are two ways things can go. Either Disha Vakani has finally agreed to come back on board or the makers have finally found a replacement. It is yet to see how things turn out for Dayaben’s role.
