New Delhi: Comedian Krushna Abhishek has taken his love for fashion to a whole new level. In a candid chat on Archana Puran Singh’s YouTube channel, where he joined her for a cosy lunch, Krushna revealed his jaw-dropping fashion storage solution—a dedicated 3 BHK flat for his clothes and shoes. Yes, you read that right!

“I’ve turned the house into a boutique,” the Bol Bachchan actor chuckled, leaving Archana’s husband Parmeet Sethi visibly stunned. The comic genius admitted he shifts his collection every six months, a practice that’s as extravagant as it is hilarious. Archana, 62, joked, “My son Ayushmann is your height. Pass on the discarded items to him!”

Krushna’s fashion journey, however, started with a humble—and hilarious—misunderstanding. Growing up, he wore hand-me-downs from his superstar uncle Govinda whose wardrobe was a treasure trove of brands like Prada, Gucci, and Dolce & Gabbana. But young Krushna believed DnG stood for David (Dhawan) and Govinda, a nod to the iconic filmmaker-actor duo who dominated Bollywood in the ’90s.

“For years, I thought my mama was so famous that he had his own brand,” Krushna revealed a sentiment that’s equal parts endearing and comical. He confessed he only recently learned to pronounce these luxury labels correctly.

Krushna’s story also brought back memories of Govinda and David Dhawan’s legendary partnership, which gifted Bollywood fans classics like Coolie No. 1, Hero No. 1, and Partner. Despite their much-publicised fallout, the actor-director duo has since reconciled, with Govinda confirming, “We don’t dwell on the past.”

On the work front

Krushna is currently shooting for Colors TV’s Laughter Chefs 2, which Bharti Singh hosts. This year, Season 2 of the cooking reality show will feature some guests, including Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav and ex-Bigg Boss contestants Rubina Dilaik, Rahul Vaidya, Abdu Rozik, Abhishek Kumar, and Samarth Jurel.
