New Delhi: Chhaava is dominating the Box Office and there is no stopping it! The historical film, even in its second week in cinemas, is far ahead of all recent releases and continues to draw significant footfall to theaters. You will be amazed to know that the Vicky Kaushal starrer maintained its triumphant run on Day 11.

According to Sacnilk, rough estimates suggest that the film raked in Rs 18.22 crore on Monday (February 24, 2025). Now, that is huge! Isn’t it? If the number turns out to be accurate, Chhaava’s total Box Office collection in India now stands at Rs 344.97 crore. The film is expected to surpass the prestigious Rs 350 crore mark on Tuesday (February 25, 2025).

Speaking of global figures, industry trackers report that Chhaava has amassed Rs 444.5 crore at the worldwide Box Office so far. It will be interesting to see how the film performs by the end of its second week.

Chhaava star cast

In Chhaava, the 36-year-old actor portrays Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the second king of the Maratha Empire and the eldest son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film also features Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai Bhonsale, Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb, Diana Penty as Zinat-un-Nissa Begum, Neil Bhoopalam as Prince Muhammad Akbar, Ashutosh Rana as Hambirrao Mohite, Divya Dutta as Soyarabai and Vineet Kumar Singh as Kavi Kalash.

The movie has been directed by renowned filmmaker Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films. It is believed to be an adaptation of the Marathi novel Chhava by Shivaji Sawant. Chhaava features music composed by Academy Award-winning AR Rahman, with lyrics penned by critically acclaimed Irshad Kamil and Kshitij Patwardhan.

The film has emerged as the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025, winning the hearts of cinema lovers across all age groups. Chhaava opened to mostly positive reviews on February 14, 2025, coinciding with the occasion of Valentine’s Day.
