The plot for Officer on Duty follows Harishankar, a very strict and hot-headed police officer who was demoted from his position at work. When he receives a seemingly simple complaint about Chandrababu, who tries to get money in exchange for a fake gold chain at a jewellery shop, he follows through. However, little did he know, this ‘simple’ case unfolded into something sinister. With gruesome crimes involved, Harishankar delves deeper into the case and finds an eerie connection to his personal tragedy from the past.

Officer on Duty’s cast includes Kunchacko Boban, Priyamani, Jagadish, Vishak Nair, Vishnu G Warrier, Meenakshi Anoop, Unni Lalu, Srikant Murali, and Raghunath Paleri.
