New Delhi: Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga recently shared that a Mumbai-based production house allegedly rejected an actor because he acted in Shahid Kapoor starrer Kabir Singh. He expressed his frustration over the same and criticised the production house without naming it.

In an interview with Game Changers, Sandeep Reddy Vanga shared, “There’s one big production company in Bombay, I don’t want to take the name. It’s not like I am scared but I don’t want to take the name.” He further added that an actor did a small role in Kabir Singh but when he went to audition for a role in another movie, he was rejected because he was a part of Kabir Singh. The production house told him, “You’ve acted in Kabir Singh, right? We are not casting you. Because you acted in Kabir Singh.”

Later, the actor called Vanga and shared that he was turned down because he acted in Kabir Singh. Sandeep Reddy Vanga told him that he should have said that the filmmaker is now working with Ranbir Kapoor, adding, “Don’t take Triptii Dimri. Don’t take Rashmika. Don’t work with Vishal Mishra who made a song for me. If you have guts, talk to me.”

Btw excel has produced KGF and distributed it so they are decently big plus they have “Akhtars” so both Tiger Baby and Excel seem the culprits.
