Boastful behaviour to blame? Urvashi Rautela REMOVED from Daaku Maharaaj’s poster

New Delhi: The internet is having a field day by trolling Urvashi Rautela and her interesting tactics to promote her latest film Daaku Maharaaj. Netizens are having a meltdown over Urvashi’s ‘boastful’ attitude in recent interviews. And it seems to be working, despite veteran actor Nandamuri Balakrishna’s lead role in the film, it was Urvashi and his Dabidi Dibidi song that caught the most attention.

On February 16, Netflix’s official social media accounts shared Daaku Maharaaj’s new OTT promotional poster with the world. Fans were intrigued to find that Urvashi Rautela was removed from the poster. Did Urvashi’s troll campaigns finally do their job? Here is what is happening.

For those unaware, Urvashi Rautela has been on a rampage with her promotion tactics. The model-actress has made several headlines for antics such as – dismissing Saif Ali Khan’s stabbing case, harping about the film’s Rs 105 crore collection and being the ‘first woman/individual’ to achieve certain feats.

The moment netizens caught wind of this ordeal, the comments were hilarious, to say the least. “First ever lady to be removed from the poster of her film, first time ever happened to the lady who’s always first,” wrote a netizen. Another commenter jokingly wrote, “The best promoter of the movie isn’t even in the poster.”

Netflix India’s hilarious response

Following this, Netflix India’s Instagram account seemed to have noticed the ruckus and did the funniest thing. The ordeal becomes even more ironic as the post featured Urvashi Rautel not once, but twice!  This went on to prompt a series of jokes. “First Actress to be on the first slide and only actress to be included TWICE in the post of 105 crore movie,” wrote an Instagram user.
