Avengers: Doomsday concept art LEAKED? Hints at characters, minor plot details

New Delhi: When Robert Downey Jr announced his highly-anticipated return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), fans have no chill. For those unversed, he will be returning as Vincent Van Doom, also known as Doctor Doom in Avengers: Doomsday. The makers are being quite secretive about this project, similar to all MCU films. However, this confidentiality did not go very far as an alleged concept art for Avengers: Doomsday has been leaked online.

The alleged concept art not only shows fans a glimpse into the much-awaited film, but the illustrations show characters that might be a part of this major film. Let’s decode this viral concept art and see what we could expect.

Avengers: Doomsday concept art leaked

It is to be noted that the concept art of the a might not necessarily be the final product. Keeping this in mind, the illustration shows the film possibly being set in the medieval times, where Doctor Doom is seen ruling from his throne in Latveria, with various new MCU characters such as Sherrif Strange and Yelena Belova being a part of his court.

The viral art shows Star-Lord sitting on a couch, lounging with White Vision; Hulk and She-Hulk wandering a village in Latveria; an alternate universe/re-cast version of Black Panther in Wakanda; characters such as Kate Bishop, Cassie Lang, Speed, Wiccan, Ms Marvel, chilling at a bar with Wong and Star Lord. With these new characters, there is a high possibility that fans can expect current MCU characters – Sam Wilson’s Captain America, Thor and Captain Marvel to join in the action.

While this has excited fans, there are also a few who are confused about the route the MCU will be taking next. Without Spider-Man, or the newly introduced characters, Daredevil and Punisher, it is yet to be seen what scale the Marvel Studios take Avengers: Doomsday to. Again, this is just a small part of a concept, and maybe not even the final idea. It’s also possible several characters may end up being saved for Avengers: Secret Wars instead of everyone being jammed in here. While the X page from which this art was leaked has been nuked, fans were pretty quick to save and circulate it online.
